Choosing back presents that are representative of the local way of life might be a charming addition to a newborn welcoming party in Itanagar. Consider giving handcrafted bamboo baskets, mats, or decorative pieces, which are traditional Nyishi or Galo tribe handicrafts. These indigenous crafts not only reflect the creativity of the region, but they also convey a sense of authenticity and cultural depth.

Small packets of organic Ziro Valley rice or locally produced teas such as those from the Donyi-Polo tea estate could also be appealing, giving guests a taste of Itanagar's agricultural prowess and tea culture. Combining these with a little brochure or card that explains the significance of these objects in the local culture might lend a personal touch to the presents.
